We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under reference ZB886834 . Under Data Protection legislation, you have the right to request details of the personal information we hold about you. Any such requests should be submitted in accordance with the process outlined in our Privacy Policy.

As outlined in our Privacy Policy, we may retain your contact information and communicate with you via the Housing Research Library system. These mailings are sent to you as a customer, and processing your data for this purpose is legally justified. As this constitutes a lawful basis for communication, your consent is not required, and you cannot unsubscribe from system mailings / or other contact related to account management. By using a Corporate Code when subscribing to / paying for / booking any Service, you agree that we can share the following details with the organisation that is funding the Corporate Code (for billing and account management): your email; your name; and the code used.

Payments, Cancellations and Refunds

Payment for our services are made via our online payment system, typically in advance, unless alternative payment terms have been agreed upon with you or your accounts department. The system currently accepts payments via credit card, debit card, and, for certain services, BACS direct debit. Please note that we do not accept cheques or cash as payment.

Our online payment system is integrated with our record-keeping system, which provides details of your purchases via your account page. This system also generates invoices and payment receipts. If you registered using a corporate registration code, your accounting department will have access to these records instead of you. You must only use a Corporate Code, with the express permission of the organisation funding the code.

We reserve the right to adjust the pricing of our services; however, any changes will not affect services that have already been booked or paid for. In the case of recurring fees (e.g. a monthly membership fee), we will provide at least one month’s notice before any price increase takes effect. Membership fees are typically reviewed annually in November. If the benefits of a membership plan undergoes significant changes, the plan may be discontinued, requiring users to transition to an alternative plan.

If you wish to cancel a monthly membership subscription, you may do so via your account, after which access will be revoked (timing your cancellation for the end of your subscription period is recommended so you maintain access for the fully paid period as pro-rata refunds will not be issued).  For cancellations related to our research services, please contact us immediately. Refunds may be issued, subject to deductions for any work completed.

Corporate Codes can be cancelled/revoked at any time by the organisation who funded them. This may result in access to a service you are using being revoked. If this occurs, an alternative funding source should be added to your account.

We retain the right to revoke access to our services at any time, typically this is due to a breach of these terms of service. In such cases, a refund for any unused time on a membership plan may be issued on a pro-rata basis. For any other incomplete services, we may refund any advance payments, minus deductions for work already completed.
